The series “Watercolour Chronicles” documents my travels as a way to collect the memories. Every painting has a story behind it, a memory worth re-visiting, a reminder of the bigger world around us.
As an addition to my “Watercolour Chronicles” series, here is Calgary, Alberta. This used to be my view when I lived there in 2011. These two tall buildings, Bankers Hall, always reminded me of Toblerone chocolates, but apparently they were built to look like cowboy hats.
This is what 4am at Piazza Venezia in Rome looks like. Pizza and wine, all the tools you need to decide to change flights and stay one more day in this magical city.
This was very early morning in New York, we found a little Italian restaurant for breakfast and we were almost the only ones there. The streets were quiet, it was one of those rare moments when New York was taking a nap.
